Epson EH TW6700  Epson EH TW6700 review featurs

The new Epson home cinema and gaming 3D/HD projector EH-TW6700 delivers on all fronts with a range of high-end features to generate bright, colourful and high contrast Full HD images, all at an affordable price. Easy to set up with a wide lens-shift range, optical zoom and vertical and horizontal keystone correction, producing exceptionally well-adjusted images in seconds. The reason this is so nice is that you can if needed easily move the projector around.

Sharp, smooth images

Using Epson's 3LCD technology for high brightness and vivid colour, this Full HD projector features high White and Colour Light Output of 3,000 lumens and 70,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, we're not fans of quoting dynamic but the Epson EH TW6700 has more real contrast ratio than most people will ever need.

3-LCD technology ensures bright, vivid colours and deep blacks. Frame interpolation and Detail Enhancement provide sharper and smoother motion pictures and great detail, for greater clarity, and the EH-TW6700 can also convert standard 2D video into 3D.

Enjoy the big-screen experience with easy set-up

Sit back and immerse yourself in the experience from the very start with our easy to install, simple to use projector, which can be placed almost anywhere.
With new projector boasting a 1.6x optical zoom, vertical ±60% and horizontal ±24% keystone correction, superbly aligned images can be achieved effortlessly. Maintenance is also kept to a minimum with the EH-TW6700.

Thanks to the incredibly long lamp life, you can watch a movie every day on the big screen for the next seven years, this is *debatable and depends on how you treat your lamp, power surges etc. but the take home is it's very cheap to keep in lamps.

Conclusion

HCC The new Epson EH TW6700 should be yet another winner for Epson as it can do the lot.  It's probably the most flexible use projector you can buy in this price range.

Epson's new EH-TW-6700 (EH means Epson Home) offers most of the viewing pleasure of their high end (and higher priced) projectors plus it's been designed to be flexible enough to move from room to room or take with you to the holiday house.

An ideal HD projector for Home Theatre and/or Gaming or use it to replace your lounge room TV.

Many will mount the Epson EH TW6700 on the ceiling and be rewarded with an image size and quality that no TV can match for the money.

HCC We're hoping to get the  price of the EH-TW8300 down to levels where it can compete with the BenQ W2000 (or W1110) in the mean time the Epson EH TW6700 may fill the slot.
