BenQ's new CH100 Data projector is much thinner than most real data projectors because of this "lamp free" LED source.

Data projectors are often mission critical so you cant't be changing lamps.

With a 20,000+ hour quoted lamp life the lamp should see out the projector, that said it's not that hard to change for your local service centre.

Brightness values are measured during a pulse train of 100 ms with a pulse width of 500 µs and a frequency of 1 kHz what this means is BenQ have been conservative in their 1000 ANSI lumens brightness rating. Especially reasonable lumens figures by BenQ as the output will not drop off with use anywhere as much as using a standard lamp. Using a LED source also means faster start up and shut down.

The best way to tell your story with creative images, CH100 provides absolute sRGB accuracy to consistently match the color precision of output deliverables and Full HD 1080p resolution in high contrast for subtle details in crisp clarity.

With five versatile presentation modes to optimize the viewing experience in diverse usage situations such as studio-quality web graphics, illustrative videos, or bright environments, and LED-enhanced visual brightness that feels twice as bright as its specifications suggest, CH100 energizes your performance for the perfect pitch.

Accurate Colours

To accurately present highly colourful work in areas like web design, packaging and app development, creative storytellers may be accustomed to lugging an sRGB studio monitor or reams of printed material. Finally a better way, CH100 is a portable business projector with the color performance to do your work justice, featuring sRGB certification and a wide color gamut for vibrant, true-to-life colours. Used throughout the web and the finest monitors, sRGB sets the color fidelity standard to preserve colours the way they were meant to be seen.

Native Full HD 1080p

To crisply display the most minute details of your visionary work such as the subtle edges of an icon, CH100’s optimized optical system is powered by the micro-precise Texas Instruments 0.47” Tilt-Roll Pixel (TRP) DLP chip to produce stunning Full HD 1080p images, so your clients see every detail of your presentation in ultimate clarity.

90% NTSC Colour Gamut

When presenting creative ideas and kaleidoscopic work in rich living color, CH100’s efficient LED light source unlocks a super wide color space, covering 90% of the NTSC color gamut to achieve difficult-to-produce hues

High Contrast

Especially useful when sharing your stories and ideas with mostly black and white images or dark scenes, CH100 produces outstanding contrast ratio performance for rich multi-layered depth and clearly legible text for the most compelling creative presentations.

5 Presentation Modes

Versatile to meet your needs for diverse applications, CH100 is equally adept at in-studio web design and graphic production as it is hosting mixed-media presentations in comfortably lit meeting rooms. It’s even perfect for movie night. Five application-specific presentation modes tune CH100’s audiovisual characteristics.

Higher Visual Brightness

For truly visionary storytelling, CH100 generates colours fully saturated by its LED light source, triggering the Helmholtz-Kohlrausch effect to perceptively outshine larger lamp-based projectors with twice as many lumens on paper specifications. Due to this phenomenon, CH100’s 1,000 ANSI lumens create a visual experience with twice as much impact, with enough brightness to handle conference rooms accommodating as many as 10 attendees.

Starts up in seconds

Starts up in seconds to make a great professional impression and reduce waiting time for presentations. And when you close its lens cover, CH100 conveniently turns off after 15 seconds.

Small Spaces

Equipped with an innovative short-throw lens, any space becomes presentation-ready with the CH100. Project a big image even in small spaces – up to 81” from just 2m – and see your creative ideas come to life. And by placing the projector closer to the screen, you can confidently share your ideas without worrying about casting distracting shadows.

Wireless Streaming

Optional Qcast video streaming dongle allows you to wirelessly present in Full HD1080p from nearly any smart device or laptop without cable clutter, complicated setup or connectivity issues. An innovative idea to complement your creativity, it even stows neatly into a concealed compartment for a sleek look.

20,000 Hours LED

Great style endures, and so does CH100’s long-lasting picture quality. With guaranteed LED light source life of 20,000 hours without the expense and hassle of lamp replacement, CH100 is a professional asset you can count on.

Presentations Looking Brand-New

CH100’s enduring light source with red/green/blue LED structure maintains its out-of-box brightness level over time without degradation. Its DLP technology and Auto White Balance (AWB) technology minimize color decay to deliver consistent fresh-from-the-box projection quality for years to come.

The only thing on our wish list would be more brightness, this is only necessary if you can't control the lighting in the room. Nothing works in sunlight!

Even if you doubled the brightness it would only appear to be 25% brighter to the eye. This means if your venue is well lit you should be looking for at least 5,000 ANSI lumens.
The BenQ CH100 is very efficient so it's light source will seem a lot brighter than some other projectors even with higher ratings, especially over time as their lamps really drop off in output.

If you're projecting in a dark room 1,000 is too much and you'll use the low lamp mode which also increases greatly the lamp life.

Offering very powerful images for the small size, if you need an easy to carry projector that can produce full 1080HD with accurate colours the new BenQ CH100 must be on your short list.
